LSA modules are designed for the termination of twisted-pair cables and are commonly used in patch panels and distribution frames. They enable the connection of individual wires from a cable to a punch-down block. LSA modules use a punch-down tool to insert the wires into the module, making a secure and reliable connection. LSA Disconnection modules have two-piece contacts normally closed, incorporating a disconnection facility, this gives all the features as above plus the added advantage of individual pair disconnection and four wire test access.
