Fiber adaptor, also known as a fiber coupler or splice adaptor, is used to connect two fiber optic cables together and the fast connector is a pre-polished, field-installable fiber optic connector that allows for quick and easy termination of fiber optic cables without the need for additional splicing or polishing tools. Fiber adaptors are ST, SC, FC, LC, MTP to MPO, both singlemode (SM) and multimode (MM) are available. Each adaptor meets ANSI / TIA-568.3-D standards. Pre-embedded Fiber Fast Connector SC/LC is suitable for FTTH (fiber-to-the-home) field assembly, especially for last mile extension.
