    Zone cabling is a network topology that offers a high degree of flexibility and long-term maintenance economy for the network. In a Zone Cabling Topology, cables are run from the telecommunications room to a consolidation point which is strategically located to service a specific area or “Zone”. Cables are then run from the consolidation point to the device that requires a network connection or remote powering.
